Golden Goose Deluxe Brand is something I’ve always admired. They were founded in 2000 after bringing together the talents of Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. As time went on, they have grown into a worldwide designer brand with retail locations worldwide, and it’s one that fashion fans can’t resist.
I’ve kept an eye on Golden Goose for some time and I would often look through what FarFetch had, as they always had an curated selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always found them a bit pricey and seemed too close in style to Converse, so they were always on my mental wishlist. Some time back, Adam was the one who first got into the brand and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what pushed me to explore them deeper. After checking out his pair and realizing the uniqueness of each pair because they’re artisanal, I was even more curious. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are deliberately worn-looking and made to seem broken-in, they are all hand done so there’s no two pairs alike. Some have stronger distressing than others, so each pair is unpredictable.
